I am the Patchsmith. I patch, applique, sew and quilt. I have been creating a life of fabric, fun and friends for many, many years. I believe a pattern should be easy to follow, with clear diagrams and full-size templates. Value is also very important to me - both in terms of fabric wastage and to the buyer. Patchwork is about sharing and that is why all my patterns are priced for everybody to afford.

Here is a pot of loveliness that will brighten any table or desk - three heart flowers fill a quilted pot whilst tendrils tumble down the sides. These heart blooms, shown here in yellow and red, would look good in any colour so why not fill this pot full of springtime colour or co-ordinate with your room decor for a homely touch. Quick and easy to put together, this mug rug is large enough for a mug and cookie. Alternatively it would make the perfect accompaniment to a pot plant gift. So don't keep this heart filled treasure just for yourself - batch make two - one to keep and one to give away.
All Patchsmith patterns come with easy-to-follow instructions, colour diagrams and full size applique sheet. This pattern also includes instructions for attaching a small hanging sleeve to the back of the mug rug enabling you to hang the mug rug.
This pattern is for personal use but permission is also granted to make this item to sell provided the item is handmade by you and you credit the Patchsmith for the design. No mass production allowed.
