I have been fascinated with quilting since I was a little girl sleeping under a Dutch girl quilt my grandmother made. Now that I?m a grandmother myself, I market my original and whimsical designs under the B. Bumble & Co. name. Most of my patterns are designed for a simple freezer paper applique technique, but will work with any method. They are not complicated and most are easy enough for beginners.
I have a blog at http://buzzingandbumbling.blogspot.com/ where you can keep up with my tutorials, tips, and other postings.
This sweet little skeleton is about as frightening as a kitten! He carries a Jack-o-Lantern and has a black cat at his feet. This colorful wall hanging will look adorable hanging for Halloween! It is large enough to serve as a lap quilt for the children in your life, if you choose.
His bones can be arranged differently very easily, so you can play with the layout before sewing it down! You can change the color scheme by simply changing the background colors!
This can easily be appliqued by machine as well as by hand. If you choose to sew the applique by machine, you can make this quilt easily in a weekend!
