Pattern Description:

My granny has lovingly made blanket after blanket for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Several Christmas ago, I decided it was time we returned the favor and designed this cozy quilt especially for her! At 70" square, it makes for the perfect quilt for wintery snuggling!

This quilt can be constructed using either Fat Quarters or 10" Layer Cake Squares. Just be sure to follow the correct cutting instructions for your chosen materials!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

70" x 70"

Materials:

Brown Prints: 6 - 10" squares OR 3 Fat Quarters
Red Prints: 6 - 10" squares OR 3 Fat Quarters
Green Prints: 9 -10" squares OR 4 Fat Quarters
Blue Prints: 8 - 10" squares OR 4 Fat Quarters
Cream Prints: 10 - 10" squares OR 5 Fat Quarters
Cream Patterned Print (for borders & binding): 1 Yard
Cream Background Print: 2 Yards
Batting & Backing: 76" x 76" piece of each

You Will Also Need:

Rotary Cutter, Rotary Ruler with 45 angles marked, and Cutting Mat
Iron, Ironing Board, and Starch (if desired)
Water-soluble Pen or Fabric Pencil
Fabric Tape Measure, at least 75" long
