Pattern Description:

Gradation is a fun twist on a traditional values quilt, where you can play with color temperature (warm vs cool) or color value (light vs dark) for a truly dynamic, interesting finished quilt! This six page quilt pattern include thorough step-by-step instructions with diagrams throughout to illustrate each step fully.

This pieced quilt pattern features a quilt that has previously been seen in a past issue of Modern Quilts Unlimited. The cover pattern features fabrics from a scrappy assortment of Art Gallery collections, in shades of blue and pink.

You'll find a black and white line drawing of the block in the pattern that you can reproduce to your heart's content until you figure out the right fabric/color placement that makes you excited to start cutting! You'll also find detailed instructions, complete with photographs and full-color diagrams to assist you in your quilt making. Cutting and yardage information is provided for four quilt sizes: baby, lap, twin, and queen/king.
