Pattern Description:

Kiku is the Japanese word for Chrysanthemum. Add borders of your choice to this appliqued 14" block for a small quilted wall hanging or combine with other Japanese Family Crest blocks for a larger quilt in the size of your choice. The pattern is full size and numbered for accurate size and placement of each element. Instructions are written for the popular basted needle turn applique technique. Diagrams are included on how to produce professional inside and outside points as well as Geri's special smooth edge technique. The applique consists of 26 pieces.
