  • how to use a sewing machine
  • how to use a rotary cutter

Pattern Description:

A fun and easy intro to improv, this project entails enough structure that it allows you to focus on the process and gives you both freedom and guidance throughout.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 64 x 64 inches


  • 3 1/4 yards background fabric
  • 1 yard "farfalle" fabric
  • 4 1/2 yards for backing
  • 1/2 yard of fabric for the binding
  • 2 yards of cotton batting at the 90 inch width

You Will Also Need:

  • rotary cutter
  • ruler
  • cutting mat
