Basic Skills Necessary:
- fusible raw edge applique and simple piecing with 1/4" seam
Pattern Description:
This little original quilt started out as simple, old fashioned flag applique but "blossomed" into a quilt covered with Texas wildflowers. Bluebonnets, thistles and Indian Paintbrushes cover the quilt. It has a fun checkerboard border that surrounds the center block, set "on point", just for fun! You will have fun picking out some special fabrics for your summer bouquet!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- finished quilt 20" square
Materials:
- assorted scraps for applique, 1/3 yd. fusible web, 1 fat quarter for background, 2 fat quarters for border, 1 fat quarter for binding, 2 fat quarters for backing, 25" sq. batting
You Will Also Need:
- thread
- rotary cutter, mat, ruler
- sewing machine
