Basic Skills Necessary:

  • machine sewing, quilting, basic applique (any method you prefer)

Pattern Description:

Designed especially for a class I taught at Arrow Rock Quilt Camp in May of 2014 to teach beginning needle-turn hand applique, this table runner features a center strip of easy applique (which you can do in your preferred method) surrounded on both sides by very easy patchwork. Created using only one charm pack and a little bit of yardage, this is a cute way to dress up your table.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 18" x 40"


  • 1 charm pack containing at least 42 squares
  • 5/8 yard coordinating solid for background and binding
  • 3/4 yard for backing
  • 26" x 48" piece of batting

You Will Also Need:

  • fusible webbing (optional)
  • basic hand and machine sewing supplies
