Pattern Description:
This pattern is completely customizable to fit your family's needs. (Alterations are allowed, no need to ask permission first). Each month a portion of the quilt pattern will be available in .PDF format and can be downloaded for FREE! Intermediate skill level (lots of applique). Pattern instructions remain FREE only during the month they are offered.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 46" square
Materials:
- various cotton fabrics (see pattern for yardage)
- 3 yards backing fabric
- 3/8 yard binding fabric
- 48"+ batting
You Will Also Need:
- rotary cutter and mat
- basic quilting supplies
- fusible interfacing
- tissue paper for tracing large templates

About the Designer
My name is Amy Heaton. I have been quilting since 2003 when I accompanied by my grandmother to the local fabric store to pick up a few items. It all began with a pieced butterfly quilt pattern, some purple fat quarters, a pair of scissors and matboard for templates (my grandmother actually owns a picture framing business). It didn't take but two years for me to acquire my very own sewing ...
My name is Amy Heaton. I have been quilting since 2003 when I accompanied by my grandmother to the local fabric store to pick up a few items. It all began with a pieced butterfly quilt pattern, some purple fat quarters, a pair of scissors and matboard for templates (my grandmother actually owns a picture framing business). It didn't take but two years for me to acquire my very own sewing machine, rotary cutter and a copy of the Electric Quilt 2005 software. I have always been an artistic person. Once I had the software in my hands, I found myself taking a laptop with me to work and designing quilts on my lunch hour. I just couldn't get enough. I started my website in 2007 and began selling my designs under the business name Country Junk'tion. By 2010 my block-of-the-month series had gained worldwide popularity with customers as far away as New Zealand. Most of my patterns have a country flair, but there is a little something for everyone in each pattern I design.
