Faux Pearls!! Glass pearls bring a touch of elegance to your embroidery project or crazy quilt block! Learn several seam treatments and gorgeous motifs done in Faux Pearls. This 33-page pattern filled with photographs and clear instructions make it easy for you to beautify your embroidery. I am an award-winning textile artist and use these motifs in my own work.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Use motifs and seam work on any project


  • Fabric on which to stitch 2.5 mm pearls (get 3 mm if you can't find 2.5) 4 mm pearls 3 x 6 mm oval pearls (also known as rice or oat pearls) 10 mm floral bead, white (4 for each heart) size 11 seed beads, white

You Will Also Need:

  • Sewing thread Sewing needle Micron Pen, fine, brown - or another fine line archival pen that will show up on fabric chosen You could also choose to draw your pattern onto tissue paper.
