  • sew accurate 1/4 inch seams

Pattern Description:

Great for making gifts and creating new holiday decor.A beginner to advanced quilting pattern. If you have used a rotary cutter and sewing machine - you can make these placemats!

You can make just one placemat of special fabrics for a birthday gift or use selvages to make a one of a kind memento.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4 - 14" x 20" placemats


  • Requires 1 yard each of 3 different fabrics
  • Could use selvages for some or all blocks!

You Will Also Need:

  • batting
  • thread that matches {or contrasts!}
  • rotary cutter and cutting mat
