Pattern Description:

Darling pieced ladybugs take this classic quilt pattern to a whole new level of fun. Step-by-step directions and full-color illustrations walk you through the process of sewing hexagons without basting papers. The large hexagons go together quickly, so you'll have your own garden to enjoy in no time!

Please note: instructions are given for sewing with templates or Inklingo. This quilt can be English paper pieced using 2" hexagon papers and the diagrams within the pattern. Fabric quantities should be comparable to the amounts listed.


  • 3/8 yard black fabric
  • 3/8 yard red fabric
  • 1/2 yard yellow fabric
  • 2 yards green fabric
  • 3/4 yard border fabric
  • 4 yards backing fabric
  • 3/4 yard binding fabric
  • 16 fat quarters for flowers

You Will Also Need:

  • Inklingo 2 inch Hexagon Collection OR From Marti Michell Hexagon set G
  • template plastic
  • quilting thread and black quilting thread
