Pattern Description:

This disappearing 9-patch looks intricate and impressive, but is very easy and quick to make. It is a perfect beginner's quilt, or a great pattern for anyone who wants to whip up a quick baby quilt.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40"x40"


  • 1/3 yard each of 9 different cotton fabrics (can be solids, prints, or a mix. Choose a variety of light and dark values) OR 81 5" Charm Squares.
  • 1 1/4 yards backing fabric
  • 1/4 yard binding fabric
  • Crib sized low-loft quilt batting

You Will Also Need:

  • Coordinating thread
  • Rotary cutter
  • Cutting mat
  • Quilter's ruler
  • Seam ripper
  • Pins
