This is the MINI version of my Dawn Blossom pattern
After seeing many dawns due to illness, I had noticed the main colours seen just before and as the sun appeared.
Navy, as the sky lightened from black.
Magenta, pink through to orange as the sun's light shone through the atmosphere.
Pale green as the grass was touched by the first light of the day.
Aqua, the sky settling from night into daylight's rich blue.
With the morning sun, flowers begin to open and thus ~ the Dawn Blossom pattern was imagined.
The pattern includes instructions on the constructions of half square triangles (HST), flying geese and the square-in-a-square block for those that may not have made them before.
There are two sizes (with fabric requirements) with simple instructions and accompanying pictures.for each step.
This quilt is perfect both modern and traditional quilting fabrics. It would be great in a teenager's room or in reproduction fabrics for in front of the fire.
