(7) Name: 'Quilting : Daisies
Daisies Daisies
Daisies Asters
Daisies Carnations

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • applique
  • machine piecing

Pattern Description:

It's nearly Spring so brighten up these grey and gloomy northern days making daisies and sunshine. The daisies are a variation on Dresden Plate and can be appliqued or fused into place. The sunbursts in the corner are 'Fans' and are pieced. The curved corner is really easy - it is quite a gentle curve, but feel free to applique it in place if you prefer. If you can't find a daisy print then match the colour of your blocks to the floral print you have found and give your quilt a different name - no one will ever know!
