Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Use a rotary cutter, mat, and ruler
  • Stitch an accurate 1/4 inch seam
  • Baste, quilt, and bind your quilt

Pattern Description:

Make this striking, scrappy quilt that looks like ice crystals. This quilt is a fabulous stash- and scrap-buster, and what makes it even better is how fast and easy it is to make!

This quilt has no foundation piecing and creates almost no waste.

I include fabric requirements for crib, small throw/toddler, twin, queen, and king sizes. This quilt is perfect for using up thin strips of scraps, leftover binding, strings, and extra jelly roll pieces. Cut up some of those uglies and they disappear into the pattern!

This pattern is packed full of color illustrations (one for every step) and very clear instructions. It is formatted to letter-sized paper for easy printing. I walk you through fabric quantities, cutting, piecing, and assembling the quilt top. I included a few alternative layouts as well. The best part is the coloring sheet where you can play with different color combinations.

This is an original pattern, designed and created by me. It is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not make this quilt for commercial purposes without contacting me first.
