Pattern Description:

This Crayon Mug Rug is the perfect pattern for the teacher, geek*, nerd*, artist, friend, mother, father, child, etc. in your life! (*to be clear, I LOVE geeks and nerds!) ;)

This pattern is ready for beginner to advanced paper piecers (made up word) alike! The instructions are full of step by step details and diagrams for every step of the process. From paper piecing, assembling the top, and making the binding, it's all there. (You might even think it's overkill.)

This pattern also includes a coloring page, which is a great way to help you design your mug rug before cutting into fabric.

My favorite part of this pattern: there are three crayon tips to choose from!! New crayons, used crayons, and worn crayons. Add some personality to your mug rug by showing off which colors are your favorite!

I originally made a similar pattern as a teacher gift for my sons teacher. I wrote a poem to go along with it, which I have included as a print out that you can color and send along with your gifted mug rug. There is a poem for teacher, mother, father, and friend (as it is applicable for all).

Please share your finished mug rugs! I love to see what people make with my patterns! Link up on Craftsy,
