Two great women were a major influence in my creative life. My Greatgrandmother and my Mother taught me to sew, knit, crochet, and tat. I am the only quilter in my family and am self taught. Over the years I became interested in pattern design and started writing quilt patterns. I now design quilt patterns which I offer to you to enjoy. I love what I am doing and I hope you enjoy my work.View all patterns by designer (19) »
This is an easy to piece log cabin quilt using blocks and strips. Finished size: 56 x 67 inches. This pattern was designed by myself, Suelynns Quilt Designs.
This quilt looks great in any fabric combination. Bright flowers, 1930's, Baby Fabrics, Calicoes, the possibilities are endless. This quilt can be made scrappy using your stash of fabric, or can be one line of fabric using 8 to 10 different fabrics looks best.
The pictures with this pattern show a scrappy look for each block, but it also works to have the strips around each square to be the same fabric. The sashing can be light or dark fabrics. Any combination that you like will work. This is a joy of this pattern.
