Pattern Description:

This is my Chair Rail pattern which is easy and quick to complete. This quilt is 46 x 51 inches, the perfect size for a lap quilt or a larger baby quilt.

I love this pattern for you can make this pattern over and over and it never looks the same. It is as EASY as sewing together a series strips!! You will need: 1 honey bun (1 1/2 inch strips) or 1 2/3 yards of assorted prints for the quilt top. To make a larger quilt, use jelly roll strips instead. Additional fabric will be needed for the borders, binding, and backing.

The fabrics in the pictures are from Free Spirit 'Prairie Gothic' Fabrics but this quilt looks great in any fabric combination. Bright flowers, 1930's, Baby Fabrics, Calicoes all work well, the possibilities are endless.

Two great women were a major influence in my creative life. My Greatgrandmother and my Mother taught me to sew, knit, crochet, and tat. I am the only quilter in my family and am self taught. Over the years I became interested in pattern design and started writing quilt patterns. I now design quilt patterns which I offer to you to enjoy. I love what I am doing and I hope you enjoy my work.
