Pattern Description:

Cactus Flower was Inspired by my friend, "Spikey". the potted plant living on my desk! Spikey lives a quiet little life most of the time, requiring little care or attention, but occasionally, she bursts forth in magnificent blooms. So, this quilt is a tribute to Spikey when she is showing off! Enjoy!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 66" x 66"

Materials:

  • Quilting fabrics:
  • Light: 1 yard
  • Medium 1: 1-1/2 yards
  • Medium 2: 1-1/8 yards
  • Small dark print: 1-1/8 yards
  • Large dark print: 2 yards
  • Binding: 3/4 yards

You Will Also Need:

  • Neutral thread or thread to match fabrics
  • Sewing machine and accessories
  • 1/4" piecing foot helpful
  • Rotary cutter / cutting mat
  • 6" x 24" quilter's acrylic ruler
  • 6" x'6" quilter's acrylic square-up ruler
  • General sewing supplies: straight pins, scissors, pencil or marker, etc.
