I thing cuddling up in this warm flannel quilt is what a hug from a butterfly would feel like!

2 QUILT SIZES & MATCHING PILLOW SHAM IN THIS PATTERN: Throw size 48"x61" & Twin size 73"x86"

This itssewsally shredded style rag quilt is based on a traditional quilt pattern, the disappearing 9 patch.
I have added my itssewsally twist and a flock of fluffy butterflies to it to make it more cuddly and adorable!
This pattern is simple and quick, even a beginner can sew this cute quilt!
This PDF pattern/tutorial include lots of pictures to teach the beginner and guide the expert.
A full size template included to keep it simple!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Throw size 48"x61
  • Twin size 73"x86
  • & Matching Pillow Sham pattern included


  • 9 contrasting FLANNEL Fabrics
  • Rotary cutter and cutting mat
  • 24" quilters Ruler
  • fabric scissors if you prefer
  • small scissors like Fisker's soft touch Micro tip
  • a sharp seam ripper - Clover Premier #502 is by far the sharpest!
  • Rag Quilt Snips
  • disapearing fabric marker or chalk wheel

You Will Also Need:

  • Sewing machine with a walking foot if at all possible
  • quilter pins
  • cotton thread
  • several universal needles and bobbins for your machine
  • Quilter gloves are helpful but not necessary
