Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Use a rotary cutter and mat
  • Sew an accurate 1/4" seam

Pattern Description:

This beautiful, modern, fat quarter friendly quilt is so much fun to make--you won't want to stop! Buttercup requires one fat quarter per block--the cover quilt has thirteen blocks, thus, thirteen fat quarters. This makes adjusting the pattern to different sizes and layouts easy!

The on-point layout is sophisticated and adds a lot of extra character to the quilt. A bold fabric selection for the sashing will also emphasize the Buttercup blocks.

A BONUS "six pack" baby quilt option is included in the pattern. With only six fat quarters and some background fabric, you can easily make this 36.5" x 54" quilt in a weekend. It would be the hit of a baby shower, make a great toddler nap quilt, or even a small lap quilt.

Step by step, detailed directions with diagrams will guide you through the block construction and final quilt assembly. A coloring diagram is included in the pattern.
