(7) Name: 'Quilting : Bodhi

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic machine stitching (optional), ironing

Pattern Description:

Bodhi is the third in the Palm series. Legend has it that Budda sat under the Bodhi tree to receive enlightenment. Whether you look for enlightenment or enrichment (to your table or wall), Bodhi will provide that for you!

While the sample (cover) is made in felted wool, you could also make this in cottons or batiks.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12" x 14"


  • FELTED MATERIALS Black: otwo 12" x 14" rectangles for background otwo 51/4" x 1" rectangles for sleeve Blue: one 131/2 " x 6" rectangle for palm Brown: one 11" X 7" rectangle for tree Light green: one 31/2" x 10" rectangle (or scraps) for leaves Medium-a green: one 31/2" x 10" rectangle (or scraps) for leaves Medium-b green: one 31/2" x 8" rectangle (or scraps) for leaves Dark green: one 31/2" x 6" rectangle (or scraps) for leaves 4 sheets Lite Steam-A-Seam 2 (www.warmcompany.com). 3 sheets of template material or heavy paper Optional: The Applique Sheet (http://www.bearthreaddesigns.com/)
