This fun quilt is a perfect baby blankie or wallhanging. Full instructions are included for turned-edge, invisible machine applique, with illustrations to make the process easy. Also includes a bonus pattern for a bird pillow!

The pattern is delivered as a PDF file, with an 8-page instruction booklet on 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" pages (print two on one standard letter page, or view on your PDF-compatible e-reader) plus three 8 1/2" x 11" pattern sheets. US measurements are used throughout.

1 1/2 yards solid turquoise fabric for applique foundations
3/4 yard total assorted bright solid fabrics for birds and wings
3/4 yard total assorted bright print fabrics for birds and wings

1 1/2 yards backing fabric
1/2 yard binding fabric
42" x 51" batting
