- throw: 1 2/3 yds. background, 1 3/4 yds. medium colors (5 or more colors for beads, string beads & border), 1 1/8 yds. light contrasting colors (5 or more colors for beads and border), 1 yd. 1st border, 3 2/3 yds. backing
