This is a special farm quilt pattern as it reminds me of growing up on my grandparents farm. I remember the classic red barn and white picket fence. My dad made me a tire swing in one of their apple trees. The farm had a nanny goat, pigs, chickens, cows and a horse we named Tony. It is a very colorful quilt made with cotton fabrics. It measures 41 " x 47". This pattern is a crib quilt size but can easily be made into a child's twin size quilt by adding extra borders. The center block measures 36" x 36" and contains all the farm animals and scenery. There are 36 triangles that surround the center block and it has two borders. Its an easy quilt to make using fusible web. The time you spend making it will be well worth the effort.

Thanks for taking a peek at my shop, KinderGarden Designs. I love making quilts, but my real passion is designing them. Designing unique patterns that would appeal to the imagination of a child inspires me.
I was in education for 17 years with a degree in early childhood education. I taught kindergarten for 10 of those years, hence the name KinderGarden Designs.
I have a beautiful little granddaughter Sydney, who has inspired many of the quilts I've designed.
I would love to see a picture of your quilt when your project is complete. It's fun to see the fabric patterns and colors that make the quilt uniquely yours.
