In honour of the impending arrival of a new grandbaby, we are offering this free baby quilt pattern for you to make gifts for all the new lives entering this world. Easy pieced, fat quarter friendly, fusible appliqued butterflies. Works up quickly. Enjoy.
Materials:
- 100 % cotton
- 5 fat quarters various matching shades for pieced strips
- 1 yd. light blue print for inside border and sashing
- 1 yd. scraps for pieced border
- 1 1/2 yds. backing material
- assorted scraps for appliqued butterflies
- Embroidery floss to match if hand appliqueing butterflies
- Lightweight fusible web
- batting to fit
