Pattern Description:

Inspired by the beautiful rural surroundings where I lived for many years this idyllic country scene wall hanging will be a perfect addition to your home. I have made it using cotton fabrics but it also lends itself to construction with the many lovely wool fabrics and felts available now. The pattern includes basic applique instructions, a large full colour image, a full size layout drawing with numbering for order of fusing and also full size drawings of the elements reversed and ready to trace including underlap allowances.
This is the first of a series of scenes that I am designing. As a special introduction this design will always be free.

I love appliqué and quilts and little projects. Also knitting and crochet. I love blogging. I have been sewing since I was a teenager but have only been quilting since 2009. I now love making fused glass quilt blocks. They make great buttons and pendants. I call it glass appliqué.
