Growing up in a large family my Mother was always sewing or knitting something. I had knitting needles in my hands by the time I was 6 and started sewing shortly after. When my boys were young I made a lot of their clothes but my favorite back then was making their Halloween costumes. I then started selling dolls, bunnies and simple quilts at craft sales for extra cash. Later when I remarried my sister-in-law Michelle taught me how to Freehand Quilt and I became addicted. My little business grew from quilted bags, to quilts and now patterns. I Love when a new quilter sends me a picture of their very first quilt made with one of my patterns, it just makes me smile.View all patterns by designer (28) »
Apple Cobbler is an easy beginner level baby or toddler quilt that will give you some practice piecing your rows together to give you straight lines. It works well with large and small scale prints, pastel or bright colors.
(for more variety, use 20 fat quarters and mix them between two quilts, this is what I did for the quilt on the cover)
Quilts created from this pattern can be offered for resale, but not manufactured.
