Pattern Description:

The beautiful blue and yellow roses in the cover quilt absolutely inspired this quilt design - the moment I saw it I though baskets! After that first quilt I was on the hunt for beautiful fabric to make a basket quilt for every season - I finished my Thanksgiving version, and still need to quilt the Christmas one. This is a fun quilt to make and I look forward to completing a summer version, too!

Fill these lovely baskets with your choice of beautiful flowers, fruit or whatever fabric design tickles your fancy. This is a good design for a strong beginning quilter - great practice for making half square triangles. This quilt has as many possibilities for color and feel as there are fabrics! I give design options for a two color basket, as well.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

45 x 45

Materials:

Background: 1/2 yard white
Baskets: 1/2 yard yellow or good contrast with your feature fabric
Flowers for basket and borders: 3/4 yard feature fabric
Sashing: 7/8 yard
Design option for baskets with two fabrics - 1/4 yard for small triangles
