I am pleased to present this e-version of my book 'Lexa's Christmas Petites', which is no longer available in printed version. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I had such fun designing these patterns.
If you love Christmas, you will want to purchase this book. It is jam packed with seventeen full size applique patterns in both the 4" and 8" formats, embroidery instructions, three different layouts, back baste and fusible applique instructions and complete embellishment instructions. It includes five Southwest Christmas patterns.
All the blocks can be done by hand or machine applique.
Any of these blocks would make a great mug rug for that someone special in your life. Stitching the blocks by machine is fast and easy.
Binding instructions are not included, but I do have a free tutorial on my website (www.artbyalexa.com) for back to front binding that is very fast and easy to accomplish and makes creating mug rugs very quick. A front to back binding tutorial by me is in my "Trick or Treat Mini-Quilt" available for free at www.pellonprojects.com.
There are two blocks where silk ribbon loop stitch is optional, but if help is needed with that, a free tutorial is on my website.
The book is set up so if someone wants to print the whole thing in duplex the patterns have blank pages on the back to help with any tracing. Otherwise, select print 100%, actual size, and page number.
I am available by email firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions you might have.
