Do you want to play a game?
Use the pieces of A Friendly Game to create a few chess pieces or enough for a whole board!
Includes patterns for six chess pieces (Pawn, Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen, King) as well as instructions to create a chessboard quilt.
UPDATED: Corrections made to fabric amounts and the Queen pattern.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 2.5" x 5" Chess Pieces / 5" with sashing (finished size)
Materials:
- approximately 3/4 yard for light chess pieces
- approximately 3/4 yard for dark chess pieces
- approximately 1 1/2 yards light background fabric
- approximately 1 1/2 yards dark background fabric
- **NOTE**These amounts only refer to chessboard layout
You Will Also Need:
- sewing machine
- rotary cutting supplies
- thread
- Add-A-Quarter ruler (optional)
