Pattern Description:

You will love making this placemat! It goes together fast as you only have to cut out 6 squares to make this placemat. You will put 3 background squares, right sides together, onto 3 print fabric squares. You'll have 24 half-square triangles when you are done sewing and cutting them apart.

Sound intriguing? You can make this placemat in an hour. Well, my first one took one hour and ten minutes, but you get faster the more you do.

Great technique that you will be able to use in your other quilt making patterns.

Ideas for placemats: Christmas, 4th of July, Birthdays (give them their own placemat. Kids love it!), Easter, Weddings, Mother's Day, Father's Day, golf prizes or just because! Can you think of another occasion that you could make them for? Let me know. I'll add it here.

Placemats: 12 1/2" x 18 1/2"
Table Runner 12 1/2" x 36 1/2"
