16th and Baltimore: Block 1

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sew a quarter inch seam

Pattern Description:

We are modern traditionalists! We used to live outside of Baltimore, a city known for its quilting prowess and historic Baltimore Album quilts. Now, we live on 16th Street in the bustling metropolis of Lincoln, Nebraska. A little bit of a culture shift, maybe, but the love of quilting is nationwide!
16th and Baltimore is a modern riff on the traditional Baltimore Album style of quilt. Each block has heavy applique, but also features a little bit of modern diagonal piecing in the background. It's modern traditionalism at its best; welcome to 16th and Baltimore!
