I love quilts! And I especially love old quilts...and I love quilted clothing....hmmmm....put the two together and my love is complete. But....I can't bear to cut up a quilt...so I came up with the idea of using a cozy, comfy sweatshirt as a pattern and the batting for a quilted garment.

It's as easy as eating a great piece of pie, and fun too. No special skills are required. Just read and follow the instructions. Don't skip ahead...just do as the steps show, and before you know it, you will be wearing your quilted jacket and enjoying the compliments!
