You will need to purchase my Magic Tuck Market Tote pattern, available in my Craftsy pattern store to make this eco-friendly tote with embroidered pockets. The fully illustrated directions (actual photos of the process) show how to embroider the outer pocket and then bind and line it with a single piece of fabric. This is a great tote for shopping and makes a great gift for those who want to help keep our planet green!
This tutorial is available only to my Craftsy customers. Thanks for your patronage. You honor me when you purchase one of my patterns.

I am a published sewing and quilting author with several books and many magazine articles to my credit. My most recent book, How to Make a Quilt was published in August 2014 by Storey Publishing. I've written two other successful books for them-- The Quilting Answer Book and The Sewing Answer Book. I learned to sew from my grandmothers, great grandmother, and my Mom when I was barely in grade school and I've been sewing ever since. I added quilting to my repertoire in the 1980s and worked for a major quilt book publisher as Managing Editor and then Editor-in-Chief for 5 years. Now I have my own business, designing quilts and tote bags and anything else that strikes my fancy.Go to www.joyofsewingandquilting.blogspot.com to see my projects and whatever else I'm up to. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find something you'd like to make in my Craftsy store!
