The Market Tote is the tote I carried at International Quilt Market!
My tote was made with the selvages I saved from various sewing projects.

The pattern calls for 5" "charm squares". But, making the selvage version is super easy if you follow my FREE tutorial for making Selvage blocks! The tutorial is available here in my Craftsy Pattern Store.

The Market Tote is a great size and sturdy too. Especially when made with byAnnie's Soft and Stable. A "new 2 me" product I discovered at Quilt Market and LOVE!

The inside of The Market Tote features 3 pockets. One pocket can be divided and is perfect for a cell phone. Another pocket is great for holding pens and pencils which otherwise seem to sink to the bottom of our purses.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12" tall x 17" wide finished

  • 1/3 Yard fabric for handles and contrasting bottom
  • 1/2 Yard fabric for lining and button loop
  • 20 - 5" Fabric Squares
  • byAnnie's Soft and Stable
  • 1" or larger Button
