Pattern Description:

The Brooksider is a large, quilted duffel bag with accented handles. The duffel design is classic and the bag will hold a lot of items.

The finished bag measures a generous 22.5" x 10". It has a solid feel to it and is not flimsy.

You can change up the design by using different colors strips or even using a solid fabric if you'd like.

The pattern is heavily detailed with a lot of photos. If you are a motivated beginner you should be able to accomplish making this duffle.

Detailed Material List:

Jelly or Design Roll (approx 22 strips)
1.25 yards of fabric for lining
1 yard of cotton batting
2.75 yards of 1.25" cotton webbing for handles

22" Zipper

Optional
D-Rings to attach a shoulder strap. Instructions for making a shoulder strap are not included.
(2) 13" squares of heavy interfacing to stabilize the sides of the bag.
