Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Read a pattern
  • Use a rotary cutter, ruler and mat
  • Use a sewing machine

Pattern Description:

Why carry a "cookie cutter" recycle bag when you can carry a statement? This is a bag you can make in an afternoon, customizing it to reflect your own personality.

This pattern will provide all the knowledge you need to make your first bag, and then you can change the size or embellishments from there.

There are lots of photographs to take you through the process of making the tote, and I've added bonus instructions on how to make your own matching fabric rose to sew to the pocket.

I also have kits available for purchase that include the exterior fabric shown in the photographs and a large snap. You can purchase the kits by contacting me at dliljegren@brynwoodneedleworks.com for a link.
