Have you discovered play dough mats yet? They are so simple to make and use! Print the downloaded images onto ordinary paper or card stock, then cover with clear plastic contact paper (or laminate) and let your kids play & learn with their play dough!
You have permission to duplicate as many as needed, which is perfect for parties, daycare providers or teachers.
PRINTING DIRECTIONS: Included in this download are two different playdough mats. Print the first one with a portrait orientation and print the second one with a landscape orientation.
Instructions for use:
Page 1: Have your children use heart shaped cookie cutters to make hearts and place them on the mat. How many hearts did they make? Count them.
Page 2: Roll balls of playdough or press dough into a candy mold (can be purchased at a craft store) to make candies. Place them in the empty candy box and count them.
I have been crafting since birth, I think. I don't remember a time when I wasn't making things from fabric, yarn, paper, beads, natural objects or purchased craft supplies. It's so relaxing and enjoyable. I guess I'm just a big kid (at heart) because one of my favorite themes for my sewing projects are fairies!
