Basic Skills Necessary:

  • How to cut and glue paper and embellishments
  • How to use a paper punch
  • How to thread and needle and basic stitch
  • How to ink pages

Pattern Description:

Sometimes the hardest part of scrapbooking is designing a layout and deciding where to place and how to layer embellishments. In this tutorial, I show you step-by-step how to create the vintage layout in the photo. This is one of my favourite vintage themed scrapbook pages that I designed and have been selling in my online shops.

The 18-pages of detailed instructions packed with photos show you how to layer and place papers and embellishments. You may use embellishments you already have in your stash.

(**If you would like to make the large lace flowers shown in this layout, I provide a free tutorial on how to make lace flowers on my blog at http://scrappinrabbit.blogspot.ca/2013/05/how-to-make-flowers-out-of-lace.html.)

As you work through the instructions for this layout, I indicate measurements and also provide tips to help make things easy. Once you've completed this layout, you'll be able to make more in no time.
