(8) Name: 'Paper Crafts : Patchwork Flowers - Collaged Card
Patchwork Flowers - Collaged Card

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing stitches
  • Basic cutting and gluing
  • Collage

Pattern Description:

Capture the simplistic innocence of a flower within embroidery floss and paper! A home made card is always a special touch when sending someone a note.

As a girl, I'm positively in love with flowers and sparkles. As an artist, I also enjoy variety of textures. I got this idea from combining an embroidery stitch I learned with some scrapbooking paper a friend gave me. In our modern world of texting, email, and Facebook, my grandmothers still love sending handwritten notes to their friends. Every year I craft a dozen or so cards for them as a Christmas gift, and this is one that I designed for them. Now you can enjoy it too!

The templates included can also be used to create a small collage to frame.
