Pattern Description:

Inspired by the popular trend of stitching paper, today we wanted to teach you how to make a valentine with a stitched look, even if you don't own a sewing machine! Stuff it with sweet somethings, like love notes or sugary goodness for you sweetheart this Valentine's Day! It's easy enough that you can do this project with your kids. And teachers, this is a great, affordable activity to do with students in your classrooms.

Ok, let's get started...

Materials:

  • An outline of a heart (I created my outline on PowerPoint)
  • 2 Pieces of festive craft paper (red & pink are great)
  • Yarn
  • Hole Punch
  • Filler (I used foam hearts, but you can fill your valentine with whatever suits you)
  • Scissors
