My name is Nona and I've been an avid knitter and paper crafter for over a decade. In July of 2015, I opened a yarn shop in Edmonds, WA with my mom. It's called All Wound Up, and we hope that you will visit if you are ever in the area.
I'm married to my best friend, Dave, and we have 3 active, intelligent, and precocious kids!
I began designing patterns in 2009 in an effort to raise money for our second daughter's adoption. Now all of the proceeds of my shop, Nona Pearl Creations, is helping pay for our kids' education, as well as sports and other lessons and activities. Kids are expensive! Thank you for helping support our family with every purchase you make!
Who doesn't love a pretty ornament - especially when they are handmade AND beautiful?!?
Learn to create these stunning balls made with vintage hymnal sheet music. You could substitute with any vintage book paper or dictionary, or even make colorful ornaments using magazine pages.
The process is easy, but can be time consuming. It would make for a fun snow day project for kids ages 6 and up (with parent supervision). Just add hot cocoa!
