Capture the beauty of the beach in a simple yet elegantly crafted card! A home made card is always a special touch when sending someone a note.

I've always loved talking a walk by the beach in the early morning, discovering everything the tide washed up on the sand the night before. One such walk inspired this design. In our modern world of texting, email, and Facebook, my grandmothers still love sending handwritten notes to their friends. Every year I craft a dozen or so cards for them as a Christmas gift, and this is one that I designed for them. Now you can enjoy it too!

The templates included can also be used to create a small collage to frame.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished dimensions of front of card: 5 1/2" by 4 1/4"

Materials:

  • Five different shades of printed paper, at least 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" in size (o Three shades of blue oOne shade of yellow oOne shade color of your choice)
  • Half sheet of card stock (5 1/2" by 8 1/2")
  • Ruler
  • Adhesive
  • Cutting implement (sharp scissors or X-acto knife)
  • Painter's tape
