This tutorial includes instructions for felting a solid colored bangle bracelet and a multicolored striped bangle bracelet. These bracelets are not knitted or crocheted, but made using the wet felting technique directly from unspun, carded wool (roving).
This tutorial is suitable for beginners. It has been written for someone who has never felted before. It is also suitable for those who have attempted this project on their own and have encountered problems. This tutorial includes a Tips, Tricks, and Troubleshooting section to help you with the most common problems I've encountered during my years of teaching this project (ex. cracks, thin spots).
I have been teaching felting for several years and I have decided to bring my no-nonsense, easy to understand teaching techniques into written material.
This tutorial took countless hours to write, photograph, and edit. It contains copyrighted material and may not be duplicated without consent of the author. However, you may sell your felted items.

I started felting after becoming fascinated with felted products I kept seeing for sale online and in markets. I asked for and received several books on felting for Christmas, and devoured all of them in the first day. After I tried felting, I was hooked.
I have now been teaching felting for several years.
