Washi Easter Eggs Japanese Washi Eggs
Washi Easter Eggs Japanese Washi Eggs

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic measuring and cutting skills; patience; a steady hand

Pattern Description:

You will love making these beautiful eggs!

I learned this art from a friend who had lived in Japan for a number of years. The eggs are gorgeous and make a lovely display for Easter or you can keep them in a nice bowl for decoration any time of year. It's fairly easy craft, it's fun to do with a group of friends, and the results are a bit addicting.

This craft would also be suitable for a school project for upper elementary - senior high.
