Basic Skills Necessary:
- To make this doll you will need to know how to use your computer printer ot its maximum capability.. You shoudl also know the basics of your sewing machine and some hand sewing techniques. Its not rocket since but it will take a while to make this doll.
Pattern Description:
I love nuns. They just make me feel so quiet and complete. So because I cannot be one,. I enjoy making the dolls. The Nuns Story is my inspiration for this doll.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- this doll can be enlarged by using roll fabric sheet. Average size 15-18 inches
Materials:
- White medium weight materials, black medium weight materials work best. you needs eomthing that will flow. Learning to amke a knotted rosary from another site will help with fisnihing the doll. Make sure you ahve a gooc dual use thread and fresh needles. Heavy starch spray will giveteh veil a nice flow. Sewing machine, iron, sharp scissors ae your best tools.

- You will need ot choose your rosary. Lewis Company is my rosary company of choice. Youc an choose any size and style and type.

Currently I am working on a college level course on Dolls in Ethnography and I have just finished the first book on expired patent dolls in cooperation with the USPO. As of december 2012 I am working on volumes 2 and three with the USPO.. all three volumes will eventually be combned into one print volume!
