Her designs have been seen in many popular beading and weaving magazines. Claudia's creative journey has taken her from artist to entrepreneur, and from her floor loom in Wisconsin to the floor of the New Hampshire state legislature, where she served from 2004 to 2010. Mirrix Looms, whose initial prototype was built from leftover firetruck parts, is now a multi-million-dollar business. Its products are made in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., in a facility that employs people with special needs.
