Marcia's Easy Spanish Paella Recipe Pattern

Pattern Description:
Spain, especially Barcelona, has been my second home for many years and you can't go to Spain and not fall in love with paella. Over the years, I did a lot of experimenting to try to create a really great paella, with ingredients that could be easily found outside of Spain. And finally several years ago, in a moment of Culinary Inspiration, I came up with "Marcia's World Famous Paella" recipe. The presentation of this dish is always a show stopper when I serve it to company and as soon as they taste it, the dining room is filled with a chorus of happy yummy sounds and cries of "Ole!" and "Brava!" Serve this with bread, olive oil, and a good Spanish wine. Before dinner, as friends gather, serve them simple "tapas" such as a plate of Spanish olives, a plate of Spanish almonds and chunks of Manchego cheese, drizzled lightly with olive oil and sprinkled with thyme (fresh or dried) and some whole fresh peppercorns. Invest in a nice CD or mp3 of Spanish guitar music, light the candles and have fun! YOU ARE IN SPAIN!
